Sweet Tooth Suspect: Bear Breaks Into Ice Cream Shop

Must Read

The Most Visited National Park was Dedicated 85 Years Ago

Today, it’s by far the most visited national park in the United States with more than 12 million visitors in 2024 alone.

One scoop or two? A giant bear broke into an ice cream shop in South Lake Tahoe and looked ready to serve up some customers, with these amazing photos taken as proof!

But when El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrived, the bear appeared more interested in sampling some strawberry ice cream than in providing excellent customer service. So, the deputies encouraged the animal to move along.

“Thankfully, Fuzzy the bear caused barely any property damage and there was barely any cleanup,” wrote the Sheriff’s Office on Facebook.

The memorable scene unfolded at Camp Richardson in the early morning hours of August 17, 2025.
