They have a passion for exploring nature and are advocates for conservancy of public lands and wildlife. Every year on their wedding anniversary, Nicole and Ryan visit national parks with their two sons, who have grown up with a deep appreciation of the great outdoors, thanks to this special tradition.

One of these trips inspired the creation of National Park News, allowing them to combine their passion with their profession as they report on the parks, with an unmatched dedication to this initiative.
