The World’s Largest Lava Lake is in a National Park in Hawaii

Molten rock covers an expanse of 300 acres at the summit of the Kilauea volcano during eruptions.

GLACIER NATIONAL PARK – You don’t see this every day: A bear was captured on video slipping and sliding down a snow field in Glacier National Park.

The bear appeared to be having fun, using the snow as its own personal ski slope in the Montana park. But leave this kind of stuff to the experts.

“Caution! Snow fields can persist through the summer and are a hazard,” said the National Park Service. “Crossing snow and ice can lead to serious injuries and even death. Consider turning around instead of crossing a snow field, especially if you don’t have the proper gear.”

Many have pointed out that the bear seems to be glissading, which is a mountaineering technique to slide down the snow while controlling your speed with an ice axe.

This unforgettable video was captured by Jacob Hartman/@wacoby0901 and shared with the National Park Service, which posted the clip on July 24, 2019.
