Must Read

No Surprise, This Park was Named for Wind Coming Out of its Cave

Wind Cave National Park got its name in 1881 when brothers Jesse and Tom Bingham stumbled across the South Dakota cave’s only known natural opening.

Maybe we find another boat launch? This photo snapped in Everglades National Park shows one of the locals who has priority when it comes to who launches into the water!

“Sometimes the best relationship is a long distance one, especially when it comes to wildlife,” says the National Park Service.

Visitors are reminded to stay away from crocodiles to avoid dangerous situations at the Florida park. Always remember:

↟ Do not disturb crocodiles.
↟ Do not feed crocodiles.
↟ Be alert! Crocodiles live in brackish to salty water.
