Good boy, Marco!
The K-9 officer for Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument began his well deserved retirement on September 9, 2024, after eight years of service at the Arizona location.
Marco was celebrated for his hard work over the years to locate more than 3,100 pounds of controlled substances, catch 119 suspects, and countless other contributions to NPS rangers and other agencies.
“Marco will stay with his handler, where he can spend his time relaxing, sleeping on his back, and playing with his toys,” said the National Park Service.
