GLACIER NATIONAL PARK – Glacier National Park is considering a reservation system for the Two Medicine and Many Glacier valleys. A final decision is expected in December.
Reservations were required this past summer for the popular Going-to-the-Sun Road and the North Fork during peak hours. There were two options for reservations: 120 days in advance or 24 hours in advance. The latter usually sold out within minutes and were really hard to get, especially for people with a slow internet connection. But people were still able to access the park without a reservation; they just had to show up before 6 a.m. or after 4 p.m.
