KATMAI NATIONAL PARK AND PRESERVE – A Tyrannosaurus Rex footprint has been found in Katmai National Park and Preserve! It’s the first evidence of T-Rex once roaming the remote Alaska area.

T-Rex is a theropod, giving it a distinctive footprint with three toes and claws. But this print is hard to spot if you aren’t an expert.

Nowadays, brown bears are the apex predator at Katmai. The park and preserve is home to more than 2,000 bears, the largest protected bear population in the world.
