GREAT BASIN NATIONAL PARK – Great news from Great Basin National Park!
Tours are now open to Lehman Caves, and the cave’s largest room—the Talus Room—is accessible to the public for the first time in nearly 50 years.
“But this isn’t just any tour: the Introduction to Wild Caving tour will require off-trail hiking, rock scrambling, and navigating through the total darkness of the cave,” said the National Park Service.
The three-hour tour is only available to those 16 years and older on Saturdays and Sundays. Tour participants will be provided with all the necessary safety equipment and basic training.
Reservations are required and can be made at this link.
