Man Airlifted to Hospital After Shark Bite in National Park

EVERGLADES NATIONAL PARK – A man was hospitalized after he was bitten by a shark in Everglades National Park over the weekend. 

Local media showed the man being brought into the hospital with his right hand bandaged. He was conscious and appeared to be in good spirits, gesturing and smiling as he was wheeled in. 

It’s not clear what the man was doing when he was bitten, but it appears to have happened in the Flamingo Beach area, according to reports. He was airlifted out for treatment.
