A truly special moment unfolded at Bryce Canyon National Park! Thirty new U.S. citizens were sworn in during a ceremony hosted by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and the National Park Service.
People from twenty countries took their oath during the event, including India, Egypt, Denmark, Mexico, Australia and more.
“As you take that oath of citizenship and join us in this land of the free and the brave, this land now belongs equally to you just as it does to everyone else in this country,” said Bryce Canyon Superintendent, Jim Ireland. “You enjoy the freedoms of this land and the ownership and shared stewardship of this land.”
