Many of these states have national historic sites and monuments that fall under the oversight of the National Park Service and are considered National Park Service units, but they don’t have any locations designated specifically as a “national park.” Meanwhile, Delaware is the only state without a single national park, monument or historic site. One of that state’s senators is exploring options for places that should be considered for a site.
