North Cascades National Park is the most underrated national park in the country, according to a new ranking. Do you agree? Lake.com made that distinction by using NPS data to determine which parks had fewer than 750,000 visitors last year, but the best Google reviews.
With that information, they ranked the 10 most underrated parks as follows:
1. North Cascades National Park, WA
2. Isle Royale National Park, MI
3. Dry Tortugas National Park, FL
4. Gates of the Arctic National Park, AK
5. Wrangell-St. Elias National Park, AK
6. Great Basin National Park, NV
7. Katmai National Park, AK
8. Lake Clark National Park, AK
9. Guadalupe Mountains National Park, TX
10. Congaree National Park, SC
Many of these parks are very remote and difficult or expensive to reach. But the reviews speak for themselves—pretty much everyone who makes it out to one of these parks says the experience is worth the cost!
