The fine was first reported by The Arizona Republic.
The woman was caught after people saw her post on social media and contacted authorities about the incident.

GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK – A woman who hit a golf ball and threw her club into the Grand Canyon is facing charges for her actions.
The TikTok star could face fines of up to $3,000 for the stunt near Mather Point. In a caption on Facebook, Grand Canyon National Park asked: “Do we really need to say, ‘don’t hit golf balls into the Grand Canyon?’” Her actions weren’t just illegal; they could hurt people or wildlife down below.
