Ten California condor chicks have been successfully hatched at the Los Angeles Zoo. The zoo is one of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s California Condor Recovery Program partners.
“The chicks are doing well and will be candidates for release into the wild as part of ongoing conservation efforts,” said the USFWS.
The endangered California condors are often seen soaring the skies over national parks like Zion, Grand Canyon, Pinnacles, Sequoia and Kings Canyon, and Bryce Canyon.
