GREAT SMOKY MOUNTAINS NATIONAL PARK – A determined black bear traveled 1,000 miles across four states to get back home to Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

The female bear was moved after she had been caught stealing food off picnic tables and from backpacks at a campsite in the national park.

Six months later, after trekking through Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina, she was back at the exact same campsite!

But apparently, she’s a bear on the run. At last report, she was still on the move roaming into Georgia and South Carolina again.
